Have you ever felt a flicker in the corner of your eye or the sense that something just flitted by. You blink quickly and turn to catch sight of it and nothing is there. The odds are pretty high that you just had a glimpse of a fairy! They are small and quick, and leave a little sense of their presence behind. There may be a glint of sparkle to mark their passage as they flit by. This is known as fairy dust and is almost as elusive as the fairies themselves. It find it easier to trace them through sound!
Fairies love to laugh and sing. The lady fairies have a lovely chime like laughter or a rippling sound like water flowing in a brook. The male fairies laugh sounds jingle bells or an exuberant bull frog deep in the woods. Last night we heard a fairy and he sounded just like sleigh bells ringing in the distance. If you’re looking to sight one of our new fairy neighbors, keep your eyes and ears open. They are all around.
